Afgelopen weekend ben ik gaan overnachten in het prachtige Gent. Tijdens mijn zoektocht naar een tof restaurantje kwam ik terecht bij The Church. The Church is een pop up restaurant in het hartje van Gent. Het restaurant is gelegen in een kerk en het interieur is er echt prachtig. Je kan er terecht voor een heerlijke lunch of uitgebreid diner. Het is geen a la carte menu, maar zelfs voor een moeilijke eter als ik was dit een fantastische ervaring. In de binnentuin kan je terecht bij Jardin secret voor een drankje of lekkere tapas. Wij gingen voor het 5 gangen menu in The Church, en het was echt heerlijk. Wij betaalden €72 per persoon voor 5 gangen, wat naar mijn mening best wel een schappelijke prijs is.

Last weekend I went to spend the night in beautiful Ghent. During my search for a great restaurant I came across The Church. The Church is a pop up restaurant in the heart of Ghent. The restaurant is located in a church and the interior is really amazing. You can enjoy a delicious lunch or dinner here. It's not an a la carte menu, but even for a fussy eater like me this was a fantastic experience. In the courtyard you can go to Jardin secret for a drink or tasty tapas. We went for the 5 course menu at The Church, and it was really delicious. We paid €72 per person for 5 courses, which in my opinion is quite a reasonable price.
