Dit jaar zijn we Valentijn gaan vieren in Middelburg. Ik heb Zeeland altijd al super gezellig gevonden, dus ik keek enorm uit naar dit weekendje. Helaas zat het weer niet zo mee en was er een storm, maar dat heeft ons niet tegengehouden om volop van dit weekend te genieten! Omdat het weer niet zo goed was hebben we het meeste van de tijd doorgebracht in het hotel. Eleanor Boutique hotel is gelegen in de oude binnenstad van Middelburg. Ze hebben 14 luxueuze suites met een super tof interieur. Ze mixen verschillende materialen zoals marmer en velvet, afgewerkt met leuk bloemetjes behang. Super hip! Elke kamer is vernoemd naar een iconische presidents vrouw, zo hadden wij de Eleanor suite. De kamers zijn echt wel groot. Onze kamer had een open badkamer met dubbele inloop douche en nog een aparte zithoek. We hadden zelfs 2 televisies in de kamer. Best wel fijn, aangezien we zoveel tijd op de kamer hebben doorgebracht. Elke kamer is ook voorzien van heerlijke Rituals producten.
Eleanor heeft ook een super hippe brasserie en cocktailbar. Het werd ons al snel duidelijk dat dit dé hotspot van Middelburg is. Het eten is er echt super lekker. Vooral de verse Pasta met spinazie was heerlijk en de dessertjes zijn echt to die for! Na het eten kan je gezellig naar de cocktail bar gaan. Ik raad je wel aan om op voorhand een tafeltje te reserveren in het weekend. In de cocktailbar hangt echt een super gezellige sfeer, het interieur is super Instagram proof én de cocktails zijn uiteraard super lekker!
De volgende dag was het tijd voor ontbijt! Als jullie mijn vorige artikels hebben gelezen weten jullie dat ik ontbijten echt super leuk vind op hotel. In het weekend kan je hier ontbijten tot 12 uur, wat voor mij echt wel een pluspunt is. Zo kan je optimaal genieten van je kamer en lekker uitrusten. Ze komen aan tafel vragen wat je wil drinken, wat voor eitje je wil en je krijgt een heel buffet op tafel met verschillend beslag, koffiekoeken en broodjes. Je komt echt zeker niets te kort bij Eleanor!
Ons verblijf was dus zeker enorm geslaagd en zeker voor herhaling vatbaar!
This year we celebrated Valentine in Middelburg. I always loved Zeeland, so I looked forward to this weekend. Unfortunately the weather was not so good, there was a storm, but that didn't stop us to fully enjoy this weekend! Because the weather was not so good, we spent most of the time in the hotel. Eleanor Boutique Hotel is located in the old city of Middelburg. They have 14 luxury suites with a super cool interior. They mix different materials like marble and velvet, finished with nice floral wallpaper. Super cool! Every suite is named after an iconic presidents wife, we stayed at the Eleanor suite. The rooms are really big. Our room had an open bathroom with double shower and a separate seating area. We even had two televisions in the room. Quite fine, since we spent so much time in the room. Each room also features amazing Rituals products.
Eleanor also has a very trendy restaurant and cocktail bar. It became quickly clear that this is the hotspot of Middelburg. The food is really super delicious. Especially the fresh pasta with spinach was delicious and the desserts are truly to die for! After dinner you can go to the cozy cocktail bar. I advise you to book a table in advance in the weekends. The atmosphere in the bar is really nice, the decor is super Instagram proof and the cocktails are of course super yummy!
The next day it was time for breakfast! If you have read my previous articles you know that I really love breakfast in hotels. On weekends you can have breakfast until 12 am, which is a big plus for me. You can fully enjoy your room and have a nice rest that way. They come to your table to ask what you want to drink, what kind of eggs you want and you get a whole buffet on the table with different toppings, pastries and sandwiches. You won't leave Eleanor hungry!
Our stay was certainly a big succes and worth another visit!
