Christmas is really my favorite time of the year! The streets are filled with Christmas lights, the Christmas markets, buying gifts for your loved ones and then end up spending time together on Christmas eve and new year. I love it! Of course, I really love to do some Christmas shopping, especially at Maasmechelen Village. For those who do not know it, Maasmechelen village is a shopping village with many boutiques with luxury brands at very nice prices. It's always very pretty there. It always reminds me a bit of the cosy streets in Disneyland Paris, but during the Christmas period is it even more beautiful there! They provide the most beautiful Christmas decoration and even fake snow to take super nice pictures in.
Not only can you go shopping in Maasmechelen village, you can eat there as well. I had lunch at Le petit Belge and it was delicious! I went for the pot roast and for dessert a trio of chocolate mousse. So good!
Kerstmis, echt mijn favoriete tijd van het jaar! De straten die overal vol lichtjes hangen, de kerstmarktjes, cadeautjes kopen voor je familie en vriendin én dan uiteindelijk het gezellig samenzijn met Kerst en nieuwjaar. I love it! ik ga uiteraard ook enorm graag kerstshoppen, en dan vooral in Maasmechelen Village. Voor wie Maasmechelen village nog niet kent, Maasmechelen Village is een soort van shopping dorp met allemaal boetiekjes met luxe merken aan zeer mooie prijzen. Ik vind het daar altijd al gezellig, het laat me altijd een beetje denken aan de gezellige straatjes in Disneyland Parijs, maar tijdens de Kerstperiode is het daar nog mooier! Ze zorgen voor de mooiste Kerst decoratie én zelfs valse sneeuw om super leuke foto's in te maken.
Niet alleen kan je goed shoppen in Maasmechelen village, je kan er ook enorm lekker eten. Ik ging eten bij Le petit Belge en het was heerlijk! Ik ging voor het stoofvlees en als dessert een trio van chocomousse. Echt een aanrader!
